We are seeking a Virtual Territory Manager for our Diabetes Division, an ideal role for individuals with telesales experience. This position focuses on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data for better-informed decisions, revolutionizing glucose monitoring with new sensing technology.

As the Virtual Territory Manager, you will drive patient acquisition, sales, and awareness of Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) products across target accounts by executing national strategy and engaging healthcare professionals, key customers, and patients. You will educate, train, and support patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs) virtually on the use of FreeStyle Libre and its digital health solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build effective partnerships with target accounts by matching ADC’s solutions and value-added services to identified customer needs and driving mutually productive outcomes through the leveraging of local guidelines and pathways.
  • Implement LHE guidance and patient pathways, and maximize guidance/formulary pull through via the upgrade of target patient cohorts to the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring system.
  • Conduct proactive outbound calls to healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to generate leads, schedule virtual appointments, and follow up on product inquiries.
  • Manage a structured appointment-making process to ensure consistent engagement with target accounts and timely follow-ups.
  • Develop and leverage customer advocacy for ADC and its brands with key consultants, Diabetes Specialist Nurses (DSNs), clinical leads, payer customers, and patient associations.
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers, sales executives, and internal ADC stakeholders in the pull-through of account plans and ADC implementation projects.
  • Create and drive a bespoke development plan with your Regional Manager to maximize professional growth and in-role expertise.
  • Fully engage with field coaching processes, "buddy" programs, training and development workshops, and on-line training programs.
  • Attend and participate in regional meetings, conferences, and account planning meetings, and execute and translate national strategy into effective local account management.
  • Interpret sales data to maximize productivity.
