The Advanced Sales Trainer position is part of the Global Commercial Enablement Department and focuses on developing and executing sales training programs for global associates. This role emphasizes a collaborative and inclusive environment, leveraging various learning platforms to enhance sales performance.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, adult learning theory, or a related field AND 7+ years of relevant experience.
    • Master’s degree in business administration, adult learning theory, or a related field AND 5+ years of relevant experience.
    • PhD in business administration, adult learning theory, or a related field AND 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience as a sales coach, training specialist, or a similar role.
    • Previous field sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Training Program Development: Develop, execute, and evaluate sales training programs using various learning platforms (e-Learning, virtual, on-demand, experiential).
  • Content Creation: Recommend new perspectives and complete the design and development of all web-based, virtual, and on-the-job training materials.
  • Outcome Evaluation: Build a plan for evaluating the successful achievement of training outcomes.
  • Sales Training Delivery: Conduct sales training in selling skills and IDT’s processes to global associates, aligning with departmental standard work and procedures.
  • Performance Observation & Feedback: Observe sales encounters, collect feedback, and analyze performance data of trainees.
  • New Representative Onboarding: Prepare new sales representatives through orientation, coaching plans, resources, and onboarding product training.
  • Relationship Building: Build collaborative relationships with subject matter experts and peers to identify problems and develop effective training solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with partners to utilize DBS (Danaher Business System) for ongoing process improvement and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
