Responsibilities

The Surgical Academic Manager will act as a customer consultant to drive growth through advanced technology adoption and project implementation, evaluate customer business to provide personalized guidance, training, and tools, demonstrate economic and medical benefits of advanced technology, differentiate Alcon products from competitors, lead and implement advanced technology account development projects, deploy value-added services and training, manage assigned products, ensure technical excellence in the operating room, engage in technical and clinical discussions, develop marketing strategies, drive and participate in conventions and events, coordinate educational presentations and surgical wet labs, handle the annual resident hand-off program, and coordinate tactical and strategic cross-functional initiatives.
