Your Role at Baxter

As a Territory Business Manager on the Alternate Site team, you will be a key representative of Baxter and our products. You will build trust and achieve results by:

  • Taking pride in representing Baxter and our products.
  • Leveraging a keen understanding of our product portfolio and belief in their value to patients.
  • Building relationships and establishing trust with doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions.
  • Acting as the primary connection to healthcare professionals, serving as the face and voice of Baxter's solutions.
  • Identifying connections between teams and how they collaborate to drive business results.
  • Sharing insights and feedback with your team and cross-functional partners to inform priorities and changes.
  • Connecting with doctors and nurses to understand their needs and build strong partnerships.
  • Leading sales activities, including new account development and expanding existing accounts within a defined geographic territory, industry, or product line in Alternate Site accounts.
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive team to find unique strategies and expand skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving sales goals for Baxter’s product lines, including Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, Pharmacy, and Fluid Therapy portfolios.
  • Implementing sales strategies and executing business plans to meet sales volume, product mix, and profit objectives.
  • Calling on alternate site customers (Home Infusion, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Consulting Pharmacy’s, Physician Offices, Oncology, and Distributors).
  • Delivering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and education.
  • Collaborating closely with Virtual Sales, Infusion Systems, Pharmacy, and Nutrition Specialist representatives to achieve assigned goals.
  • Protecting, servicing, and growing the current base of business.
  • Managing and maximizing Baxter GPO contracts.
  • Serving as a resource for market information for management and marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with 3+ years of experience OR 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of medical sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience in sales within Ambulatory Surgery Centers or Home Infusion settings is ideal.
  • Ability to take personal accountability for achieving results.
  • Proven ability to "win" at each stage of the customer's buying process and earn business on favorable terms.
