Your Role at Baxter

As a Virtual Portfolio Territory Manager within our US Hospital Products team, you will represent Baxter and our products with confidence, leveraging your understanding of our medication delivery portfolio and its value to patients. You will build trust and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in materials management, nursing, pharmacy, and risk management departments within hospitals. As the primary connection to healthcare professionals, you will be the face and voice of our solutions, driving business results by seeing connections between internal and external teams. We are looking for individuals who take personal accountability for achieving results and can excel at every stage of the customer's buying process. Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals for Baxter’s Medication Delivery products in the assigned Territory.
  • Promote Baxter’s Access (IV Tubing, etc.) and Fluid Therapy portfolios.
  • Implement sales strategies and execute business plans to meet sales volume, product mix, and profit objectives.
  • Call on acute hospital customers, delivering effective sales presentations and providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and education.
  • Collaborate closely with Infusion Systems, Pharmacy, and Nutrition Specialists to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  • Protect, service, and grow the current base of business.
  • Manage and maximize Baxter GPO contracts.
  • Serve as a resource for market information for management and marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3+ years of experience, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred track record of success in meeting both customer needs and corporate sales objectives.
  • Preferred clinical or science background.
  • Must be highly motivated, energetic, and resourceful.
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to balance team/individual responsibilities and contribute to building a positive team culture.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Travel

  • 15 - 20% travel is required. This may involve visits to remote or urban areas, either individually or with other personnel.

Compensation

The estimated base salary for this position is $56,000-$77,000 annually. This range reflects an anticipated salary range and may be adjusted based on market data, location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
