Requirements

Candidates should possess deep domain knowledge of the Diagnostic Services industry and preferred molecular diagnostic experience, with a strong background in selling oncology-based tests and services into the Pathology and/or Oncology clinical communities. They require experience in complex selling environments, demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining talent, and the ability to prioritize and align organizational goals. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should be able to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships, provide an integrated MolDx/SaaS solution, and engage in a consultative selling process.

Responsibilities

The Area Vice President, South will be responsible for managing business results, sales activities, driving strategic collaborations, and cross-functional initiatives for their team, including making day-to-day decisions regarding resource deployment, cost allocation, and business direction. They will achieve area-level sales objectives, develop and execute area and regional business plans, directly execute sales strategies and tactics, develop and maintain key customer relationships, plan and conduct area sales meetings, evaluate the performance of Regional Sales Managers and Clinical Account Executives, identify contracting opportunities, maintain a high level of product and market knowledge, and support internal department sales-facing initiatives. Additionally, the AVP will execute on area-level hiring plans, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and drive sales enablement through CRM and data analytics platforms, while also providing field support and attending executive-level meetings.
