Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of deep sales experience specializing in health benefits, including experience selling to brokers, consultants, and insurers, with a focus on large enterprise clients. They should have existing relationships within these communities, demonstrate data literacy to translate complex datasets into actionable insights, and possess experience developing and executing sales strategies for long-term success. Furthermore, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience working at a venture-backed, early-stage company and be comfortable working with remote teams.

Responsibilities

As the Vice President, Enterprise Sales (East), you will oversee Garner’s sales and revenue functions across the East Coast, managing partnerships and all day-to-day sales activities, including building out the large enterprise channel through various channels such as direct sales, brokers, consultants, insurers, and providers. You will be responsible for owning direct sales cycles, deploying sales objectives through quota setting and pipeline management, maintaining market knowledge and competitor awareness, developing strategic broker relationships, and providing regular performance reviews, feedback, and professional development opportunities for the sales team to drive success.
