Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of experience managing quota-carrying SaaS sales teams in a B2B environment and a strong leadership track record in regional or territory-based sales roles. Experience hiring, training, and coaching Account Executives and/or field teams is required, along with CRM mastery (HubSpot preferred) and disciplined forecast and pipeline rigor. Cannabis, POS, or payments industry experience is highly preferred, and the ability to travel 50%+ across the East Coast is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Director of Sales will lead and develop Account Executives and Field Marketing Representatives in the East Region to exceed monthly door-count, lead generation, and ARR targets. Responsibilities include coaching team members, conducting pipeline reviews, ensuring pipeline hygiene, and upholding the company's coaching culture. They will also be responsible for revenue execution by hitting or exceeding ARR goals, analyzing conversion funnels, and intervening with underperformers. Additionally, the role involves GTM cadence and territory design, prioritizing coverage, allocating resources, and refining territories quarterly. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams on campaigns and new market launches, ensure field and partner enablement, review conversion rates and event ROI, and share competitive intel to influence product strategy.
