Candidates should possess at least 8 years of consumer PR experience in an agency setting, specifically with large consumer brands, and a history of success in providing strategic counsel to clients and building strong relationships with senior-level contacts. They must demonstrate a collaborative spirit, be results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working against deadlines. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should have experience overseeing 360 integrated brand programs, including both ongoing storytelling and product launch campaigns, and expertise across the earned media landscape, along with demonstrated strategic, creative, and holistic thinking abilities. Experience in drafting and presenting new business pitches is also required, alongside the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent writing and presentation skills.
As a Vice President, Brand, the individual will lead large-scale Brand Programming in client service, earned media strategy, team activation and development, and new business. They will develop and execute integrated PR strategies and programs, monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation, conduct audits, deliver training, advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, and support existing clients while participating in new business opportunities. This role involves working closely with agency SMEs and collaborating across various teams to ensure consistent excellence in client work, serving as a skilled client counselor, and navigating challenging conversations in real-time.
