Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess an apprenticeship as a Speditionskaufmann or a comparable qualification, along with relevant experience in the export handling of worldwide large projects. Experience with heavy transport shipments is desired, complemented by proficient computer skills in MS Office, SAP, and Atlas. Strong English language skills at least level B2 are essential, and additional foreign language knowledge is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Versandsachbearbeiter will be responsible for the worldwide export of equipment and spare parts, processing shipping orders involving multiple transportation modes, handling customs clearance and creating relevant customs and foreign trade documents, processing letters of credit, and clearing import shipments from foreign countries. They will also coordinate shipping activities with internal and external partners, such as logistics providers, ensure timely delivery, optimize work processes in collaboration with partners, and monitor delivery schedules.
