Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or a related field, preferably with an analytical or business focus, and have at least 5 years of experience in a role requiring analytical skills, such as retail or distribution, with prior experience in replenishment, buying, or supply planning being a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel with advanced formulas and pivot tables, is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Planner, the individual will be responsible for owning efficient inventory management and supplier performance across multiple product lines, ensuring high in-stock levels while minimizing excess product and shrinkage, creating purchase orders, and monitoring inventory to maintain optimal turns. They will collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, resolve shipping issues, and manage purchase order changes, while also working with Category Managers and Fulfillment Center leadership to address stock and service level challenges. Furthermore, the role involves proactively identifying and implementing process improvements, adapting to a fast-paced environment, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to achieve service level goals.
