Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems, ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow), Office 365 Admin Center, and Active Directory tools. A beginner level understanding of Command Prompt, PowerShell, and Terminal, along with a solid foundation in Windows and macOS imaging and knowledge of self-service software installation tools (Company Portal, Manage Engine) is required. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, team player, and can explain technical issues to non-technical users.
The Specialist Technician will provide hands-on and remote IT support to employees, including onboarding assistance during new hire orientations. Responsibilities include provisioning PC, Mac, and Linux hardware, providing L1/L2 user support via email, chat, or phone while adhering to SLAs, policies, and SOPs, and assisting with testing and deploying new hardware, software, and operating systems. The role also involves supporting video conferencing systems, managing IT asset inventory, coordinating with office managers for building access and equipment maintenance, and performing other assigned tasks.
