Responsibilities

  • Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs; encourage associates/managers in community service; champion company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures by holding associates accountable, monitoring controls, overseeing safety/operational reviews, and implementing corrective action plans
  • Provide supervision and development for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, performance evaluation, recognition, and feedback
  • Model exceptional customer service by demonstrating OBW, managing initiatives, resolving customer issues, and implementing improvement plans
  • Assist store manager in driving financial performance by achieving sales/profit goals, reviewing P&L, controlling expenses, correcting deficiencies, and participating in budget forecasting
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by maintaining stakeholder relationships, supporting plans/initiatives, communicating goals, building accountability, and addressing improvements
  • Support company mission/values/ethics by implementing action plans, utilizing Open Door Policy, and providing guidance on business processes
  • Demonstrate leadership expectations: build diverse teams and culture of belonging; work collaboratively and communicate positively; attract/retain/develop talent; maintain integrity, ethics, and compliance
