Requirements
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (Syracuse, NY and surrounding areas including Auburn, NY; Weedsport, NY; Skaneateles, NY; Wolcott, NY)
Ability to travel to Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota for 2 weeks during the 12-week training program (proper documentation such as Real ID or acceptable ID required)
Availability for weekend rotation (generally 1 in 4 weekends based on business demand)
Comfort with field-based work, independent schedule management, and using tools/technology like tablets and mobile phone apps
Problem-solving skills for maintenance and service tasks
Commitment to safety practices and safe equipment use
Responsibilities
Leverage tools and technology (including tablet and mobile phone apps) to conduct customer visits and recommend unique programs and solutions
Communicate total value to customers to meet their needs and grow sales within existing accounts
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment, and systems
Provide emergency service to existing customers via phone or in person, as needed
Assist in the installation of equipment and solutions
Demonstrate safe equipment use to ensure customers' operations are fully functional
Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to control costs
Manage, service, and sell to established customers (e.g., restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities) within an assigned territory
Participate in initial training program (blended approach: digital, classroom, demonstrations, on-the-job)
