Requirements

Candidates should have at least 4 years of technical customer support experience in a SaaS or Tech environment. A strong understanding of APIs and Networking is essential, along with excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience using Datadog or similar log management tools is preferred, and familiarity with databases is a plus. Candidates must be located in the United States and be able to support an 8 AM to 5 PM CST schedule, including rotational on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend or holiday support.

Responsibilities

The Technical Support Specialist will provide technical support to customers through email, screen sharing, and chat, ensuring timely responses and resolutions within established SLAs. They will master Vanta's product and explain complex solutions in simplified terms while documenting solutions for scalability. The role involves troubleshooting for customers in a repeatable manner, creating reproducible test cases for the Product team, and providing feedback to enhance the product. Additionally, they will escalate bug reports, contribute to internal and external documentation, and actively participate in team meetings and troubleshooting sessions.
