Familiarity with essential AWS components like EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, S3, and IAM is required, with experience in Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, and EMR being a plus. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to see the big picture are also necessary.
The Dev/ops Engineer will support business-critical services in an AWS cloud environment, providing architecture and implementation support using containers, Kubernetes, AWS tools, and serverless technologies. They will lead DevOps projects, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot application and deployment environments. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining AWS infrastructure, implementing observability and alerting tools, documenting procedures, championing cloud security best practices, and implementing infrastructure-as-code. The role also involves an on-call rotation for incident response.
