Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with networking or distributed systems concepts. A minimum of 2 years of Product Management experience for technical products, preferably with networking or infrastructure components, and 3 years of experience in the computer networking field are required. Strong technical fluency, analytical skills, a customer-focused mindset, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a willingness to travel quarterly are essential. Previous engineering experience in networking or distributed systems, familiarity with enterprise networking, mesh networking, IoT, or edge computing, and knowledge of networking protocols are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Product Manager for Networking will drive and prioritize the product roadmap for Ditto's networking and transport capabilities, defining which networking problems to solve and their customer impact. They will balance technical tradeoffs with engineering teams, coordinate cross-functionally with other product managers and engineering managers, and engage with customers to understand networking challenges. This role involves translating customer needs into product requirements, collaborating with technical specialists to create technical specifications, and championing networking use cases internally and externally through documentation and demos.
