Candidates should have 2+ years of customer support, technical support, system administration, or a related customer-facing role. Professional fluency in English is required, along with experience in Identity Protection and Zero Trust solutions. Excellent knowledge of authentication protocols such as Kerberos, LDAP, and NTLM is necessary, as is proficiency in the Windows environment, including Windows Services and Active Directory, and the ability to troubleshoot low-level operating system and network issues. A passion for solving customer issues, the ability to learn new technologies quickly, excellent relationship management, customer service, and communication skills are essential. Candidates must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess outstanding analytical and organizational abilities, and remain calm and articulate in challenging customer situations. Bonus points for experience supporting kernel-level security solutions, security or networking solutions like UEBA, SIEM, IAM, PAM, relevant certifications, supporting hybrid environments, and supporting security applications such as AV, VPN, Firewall, and proxy.
The Technical Support Engineer will provide reliable technical and non-technical direction to customers for integrating, deploying, and maintaining the CrowdStrike service. They will take ownership of customer issues, performing initial troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and resolving or escalating issues as needed. The role involves identifying and escalating priority issues requiring immediate attention, meeting or exceeding customer expectations for response quality and timeliness, and serving as a point of contact for customer escalations to ensure prompt resolution. Additionally, the engineer will collect information and document bugs with senior engineers for product issues impacting customers, create process or troubleshooting documentation for the support knowledge base, and contribute to process improvements and new customer-focused solutions.
