This position is a Technical Service Specialist/Sr. Specialist based in Ankara, within the Core Diagnostics Division of Abbott. The role focuses on providing technical solutions for effective system operation, instrument installation, and supporting first-line service providers. It involves IQOQ procedures, customer business reviews, and potentially supporting other territories. Success is measured by customer satisfaction, service KPIs, and economic growth.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required. University Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical, Biology, or Physics) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the diagnostic industry. Proven experience record in a technical position, supported by references.
  • Skills:
    • Customer relationship and communication skills
    • Fast engagement to issues
    • Strong task and process management
    • Technical service experience in repairs and maintenance of electromechanical systems (preferred)
    • Strong interest in analytical tools and software-oriented solutions
    • B class driving license

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Acts as a technical solution provider for effective system operation.
  • Instrument Installation: Responsible as a technical specialist in his territory and advanced service support for the first line service providers.
  • IQOQ Procedures: Performs IQOQ (Installation Qualification Operation Qualification) procedures.
  • Customer Business Reviews: Assists with customer business reviews.
  • Territory Support: Works within his primary territory of responsibility, and potentially supports other territories and regions as part of the Turkey Service organizations.
  • Service Activities: Schedules and performs unplanned services and activities within customer expected time.
  • Problem Identification: Identifies technical support needs and implements proactive actions with team members.
  • Solution Delivery: Provides best-in-class solutions and experiences at customer expected level or beyond.
  • Inventory Management: Keeps track of own spare parts stock.
  • Travel: Travels within the service area.
  • Compliance: Ensures all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
