Candidates should possess a minimum of 4 years of demonstrated sales experience, or relevant technical/clinical experience, preferably in the medical, scientific, or healthcare industry. A minimum of an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred); preferably with a science or business emphasis or equivalent experience is required. Strong technical sales capabilities and expertise in veterinary terminology/science are also necessary.
The Diagnostic Solutions Consultant will be responsible for selling Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, and associated products and services within an assigned US sales territory, building and maintaining customer relationships, achieving budgeted sales quotas, updating sales funnel data, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve goals. The role involves traveling to customer locations, documenting interactions, transporting equipment, demonstrating diagnostic solutions, providing ongoing customer support, generating new business leads, supporting billing and collection efforts, and staying informed of market trends and competitive information. Extensive driving and periodic overnight travel are anticipated, as well as the ability to safely lift and move 60 lbs.
