Technical Research Associate

Position Overview

• Location Type: Remote
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Pay Rate: $26 - $29 /hr DOE & location
• Time Zone Preference: EST

The Technical Research Associate is a non-traditional role within our AI data collection team. You will be focused on training AI to interact with humans in entirely new ways. This role requires a background in QA or data analysis and a willingness to learn new software skills on the job.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Execute different Use Cases collecting Data in support of AI engine development.
• Conduct Data Analysis on how the AI performs comparatively to User data.
• Provide feedback on how to improve the AI.
• Create and Execute Prompts.
• Learn new software programs on the job.
• Provide supporting documentation when the AI fails.

Requirements

• Excellent Communication Skills: (Written and Oral)
• Strong Organization and Time Management Skills
• Experience in assisting in system troubleshooting & finding resolutions
• Preferred Prior Work Experience or College Studies in AI
• Technical Aptitude:
  • Spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Email/Calendar (e.g., Outlook, Gmail)
  • Project Management (e.g., JIRA, Asana)
• Ability to Gain New Skills: Through hands-on experience.
• Keen Eye for Detail
• Demonstrated Ability to Work Independently
• Strong Time Management Skills
• Proactive Approach: High level of accountability, transparency, and teamwork.
