The role requires familiarity with command-line tools and interfaces, strong analytical skills to identify patterns and anomalies, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Familiarity with translation or multi-lingual datasets is a plus.
The AI Data Specialist will update training and test model databases with synthetic textual and image data, and modify data creation, annotation, and rating guidelines. They will initiate model training processes, evaluate model performance, and design/develop test and training datasets. Responsibilities include managing data efficiently, annotating data accurately, conducting manual quality analysis of model results, recognizing error patterns, and reporting anomalies. The specialist will deliver detailed reports on findings, implement quality control measures, utilize data analysis techniques, arbitrate discrepancies, and apply knowledge of natural language processing and linguistics to data processing tasks.
