Requirements

Candidates should have proven work experience as a Technical Support Representative, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar. A good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products is necessary, along with familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software, such as Salesforce. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and flexibility to work shift hours are also required.

Responsibilities

The Tech Support Specialist will assist customers with technical issues related to Platform Science products and services, resolving customer questions and recommending technical solutions. Responsibilities include guiding product users through features and functionalities, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, including heavy android application support, and tracking calls to resolution. The specialist will talk customers through solutions via phone, email, or chat, escalate unresolved issues, provide feedback, and log cases in Salesforce. They will also document technical knowledge in Knowledge Base articles, analyze and report product malfunctions, update internal databases, share feature requests, and gather customer feedback.
