Candidates should have experience in researching and resolving technical problems of moderate complexity, typically escalated from first line support teams. Experience responding to escalated telephone, email and on line requests for technical support is required, along with experience documenting, tracking, and monitoring problems using applicable systems and tools. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a Desktop Support Certification is preferred.
The Desktop/End User Support Engineer 2 will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software packages. This role involves customer service and end-user training. The engineer will research and resolve technical problems, respond to escalated support requests, and document, track, and monitor issues. They will interpret and independently determine appropriate courses of action for varied work assignments, requiring minimal direction and following established guidelines.
