Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of technical experience, and at least 2 years of people management role
- Expertise in solution selling and automation technologies
- Experience leading teams or mentoring in a technical or consultative role
- Strategic commercial insight and understanding of customers key performance goals
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects; fluent in English
- Communicates ideas with clarity across a matrixed organization
- A passion and ability to cultivate a positive team culture aligned with our goals and priorities
- Comfort working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Willingness to travel within your assigned geography
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Solution and Technology Consultants to ensure appropriate coverage, competency, and engagement
- Be a technical advisor for Rockwell Automation's products and technologies, promoting value to both internal stakeholders and customers
- Partner with Sales and Business Management to support customer pursuits and build commercial programs aligned with the portfolio
- Communicate the value of the automation industry and its applications by linking them to our strategic solutions and products, and highlighting the difference from competitors through integrated IT-OT expertise
- Contribute to customer proposals and proof-of-concept initiatives to support pre-sales activities
- Establish development plans for consultants to enhance technical capabilities
- Ensure consistent usage of CRM tools and data tracking to optimize team activities and performance
- Share market intelligence and best practices with regional and global peers to enhance team effectiveness and customer impact
- Represent Rockwell Automation at trade shows, seminars, and marketing events
