The ideal candidate will have experience supporting customers across a full stack of networking technologies, including wireless, wired, and security devices. Experience with network operating systems, wireless, security, firewall, and VPN technologies is essential. The ability to acquire and analyze packet captures to diagnose issues is also a key requirement. Familiarity with QA engineering processes and contributing to knowledge bases is preferred.
The Support Engineer will act as a subject matter expert for wireless, security, firewall, and VPN escalations, resolving complex customer issues end-to-end. They will maintain documentation, provide root cause analyses, and monitor proactive alerts to initiate customer outreach. Responsibilities also include identifying support trends, creating playbooks, developing design templates for operational deployment, assisting with configuration changes, and collaborating with engineering and QA teams on product improvements and feature validation.
