Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Strategic Management, or a related field
  • Between three (3) to five (5) years of experience in consulting and/or project management with a good knowledge of strategic planning
  • Previous experience in strategic planning, project coordination, or a similar role is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics operations or supply chain management is a plus
  • Ability to summarize complex and multidisciplinary data into comprehensive executive reporting
  • Understanding of strategic planning and project management concepts, methodologies, principles, practices, and frameworks
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic hypergrowth environment
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Communicate effectively in French and English
  • Technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) and project management tools (Planner, Monday, JIRA, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data on market trends, competitors, and internal operations
  • Perform SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis to inform strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with executives to define the organization’s vision, mission, and objectives
  • Design and propose short- and long-term plans to achieve business objectives
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, or expansion possibilities
  • Provide recommendations on investments or cost-saving initiatives based on analysis
  • Work with different teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to align strategies and ensure cohesion in the organization's objectives
  • Track the performance of strategic initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Adjust strategies based on progress reports and changing business conditions
  • Identify potential risks that could impact the execution of the strategic plan
  • Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for leadership to communicate the progress of strategic initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops or strategy sessions with key stakeholders
  • Provide insights and guidance to senior management regarding business direction, market shifts, and competitive positioning
  • Act as project leader for key initiatives to develop business cases across cross-functional teams
  • Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, facilitating effective communication and coordination
  • Provide regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming activities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
