Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years in an Enterprise Sales closing role, with 10+ years preferred, and a proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota. Experience managing a consultative sales cycle with Fortune 100 company executives, recent experience with an emerging tech company, and knowledge or experience in the developer tool space or selling to C-suite multi-threaded deals are required. Familiarity with MEDDPIC, expanding across business units at large enterprises, and a Land & Expand SaaS Sales strategy are also necessary qualifications. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US/Canada without visa sponsorship and be willing to travel 50%.
The Strategic Account Executive will own the relationship with strategic customers in their territory, educating and guiding prospects through LaunchDarkly adoption. They will elevate LaunchDarkly's visibility at large enterprises, communicate the value proposition to VP and C-suite executives, and consistently meet revenue targets by methodically developing new opportunities. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, engaging in team development, and mentoring.
