Position Overview

We are looking for a Staff Product Designer to help shape a new product offering at Webflow. This role is an opportunity to define a vision and craft unique solutions to expand Webflow’s platform. You will join a team responsible for enabling customers to build, connect, and manage their content in Webflow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of operating at both strategic and tactical levels, driving alignment across cross-functional teams and product areas. This person should excel at distilling complex, technical concepts into simple and intuitive experiences.

About the Role

  • Location: Remote-first (United States; BC & ON, Canada)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

  • Reporting to: Product Design Manager

Compensation

The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. Base pay ranges are structured into zones for our geographic markets. The specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

  • United States (USD):
    • Zone A: $175,800 - $247,700
    • Zone B: $164,500 - $232,200
    • Zone C: $154,200 - $217,600
  • Canada (CAD - ON & BC): $199,300 - $281,100

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Product Designer, you will:

  • Define, design, and launch new products while seamlessly integrating with existing capabilities.
  • Proactively collaborate across teams to untangle complex technical and user experience dependencies.
  • Present your work to stakeholders and senior leadership, actioning feedback and driving alignment on design vision and strategy.
  • Regularly engage with customers to develop a thorough understanding of their needs and pain points.
  • Continually elevate the craft of design at Webflow and be a thought leader for high impact design decisions, mentoring fellow designers.

About You

You’ll thrive as a Staff Product Designer if you:

  • Have demonstrated experience influencing and leading complex initiatives in a remote environment.
  • Possess strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Have previous experience with software that empowers professional or technical users in their respective industries.
  • Are familiar with the web design industry, content management platforms, web standards, and accessibility.
  • Have a bias towards action working on complex products at a high growth, scaling company.
  • Sweat the details to ensure that the products are exceptional.
