Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer-facing mobile and web applications, demonstrated through a strong portfolio showcasing user impact and business results. They should also have a strategic mindset, capable of connecting design decisions to product and business outcomes, and a proven track record of leading design initiatives and driving high-quality execution. Previous experience managing or mentoring designers is preferred, along with proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar, and a deep understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and UX best practices.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Product Design, you will drive the end-to-end design strategy and execution for member-facing products, guide cross-functional teams and external partners, provide creative direction, lead key initiatives to improve usability and engagement, influence product vision and roadmap, champion design excellence, and lay the foundation for future growth of the design function. You will also collaborate closely with the VP of Member Experience and other leaders to shape how members access and engage with their healthcare.
