Position Overview

Eventbrite is seeking a Product Designer II to join their mission of bringing the world together through live experiences. As a Product Designer II, you will own design projects from conception to completion, creating intuitive, high-quality experiences for both event creators and attendees. The Team

You will be part of Eventbrite's Product Design team, a collaborative group of designers, researchers, and design program managers focused on creating best-in-class experiences. The team works closely with Product, Engineering, and Research to develop innovative solutions for seamless event creation. As a Product Designer II, you will have opportunities to learn from senior designers, mentor junior designers, and contribute to a culture of design excellence, valuing craft, quality, and user-centered thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Own design projects, ensuring alignment with Eventbrite’s broader vision.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define problems and create user-centered solutions.
  • Solve complex design challenges, focusing on usability, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Uphold high standards of craft and quality in designs, ensuring they are polished, functional, and adhere to Eventbrite’s design principles.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale and influence product direction.
  • Contribute to and evolve Eventbrite’s design system.
  • Iterate on designs based on user research, data, and feedback.
  • Support a culture of design excellence and mentor junior designers.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
  • Design Execution: Strong skills across multiple design disciplines including interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to design for complex workflows and interconnected product ecosystems.
  • Data-Informed Design: Comfortable using research, usability testing, and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with key partners such as Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers.
  • Communication: Ability to articulate design decisions, accept feedback, and align teams around a shared vision.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on craft and quality, delivering polished, scalable, and accessible designs.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with prototyping tools like Framer or Principle.
  • Mindset: Passion for learning, iteration, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong motion or interaction design skills.
  • Experience working on complex Information Architecture (IA) systems.
