Your Role at Baxter

As a Sr Specialist, Clinical Sales, you will represent Baxter and its products with confidence, leveraging your deep understanding of our portfolio and belief in its value to patients. You will build trust with customers, including doctors and nurses, by providing knowledgeable solutions and demonstrating curiosity. Your role involves being on location, building relationships, and establishing trust with healthcare professionals who rely on Baxter solutions daily. You will be the face and voice of Baxter's solutions, connecting teams and driving business results. The insights and feedback you share will inform priorities and changes.

Responsibilities

The Sr Specialist, Clinical Sales functions as a professional clinical advisor within the Baxter Acute Care sales team, communicating the clinical value of Baxter solutions and technology to customers.

  • Act as the regional sales team’s clinical leader, working alongside the Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and attainment.
  • Develop, coach, and execute sales strategy and territory planning in collaboration with five to six Account Executives and various product specialists.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to demonstrate the clinical value of Baxter/Hillrom solutions and technology.
  • Consult with hospitals and health systems to optimize Baxter/Hillrom technology, improve key quality metrics, and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of Baxter-wide programming to enhance clinical outcomes and derive the full clinical benefit from our people, processes, and technology.
  • Engage customer clinical leaders and executives, advanced practice nurses, and researchers in measuring clinical effectiveness and creating proof points for our solutions and portfolio.
  • Lead key customers in the creation of evidence-based protocols, case studies, testimonials, peer-reviewed publications, and reference site participation.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Accounts Team to provide strategic clinical program planning for assigned IDN/GPO accounts.
  • Lead or contribute to key field sales clinical and cross-functional projects (e.g., CI projects, ROI model development).
  • Present key clinical sales initiatives.
