Position Overview

  • Salary: $125,000
  • The Senior Partner Account Manager (SPAM) will identify, recruit, enable, and manage a partner ecosystem within the Canadian region. The focus will be specifically identifying and fostering Resellers, Distributors, and Consultant Partnerships that are committed to driving both recurring and new business revenue growth with Minitab within the United States. The Reseller, Distributor, and Consultant partner ecosystem will align and be in full support of Minitab’s global go-to-market plan, the regional geographical operating plan, Minitab’s customer engagement lifecycle and value-based delivery approach. In addition, the SPAM will be driving the necessary partner enablement programs along with the development and execution of annual partner business development plans. They will provide sales support to the partners for all industry verticals, understand and leverage the partners’ customer interactions and initiatives for Minitab’s products, solutions, and services. The types of partners in the desired ecosystem include resellers, distributors, value-added resellers, manufacturing automation, six sigma and OPEX consultants.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of indirect channel business development experience within enterprise software markets required.
  • Revenue Targets: Average annual partner revenue targets > $1M USD.
  • Quota Achievement: Consistent achievement of 100%+ revenue and sourced pipeline quotas.
  • Collaboration: Multi-channel experience and experience working collaboratively with internal direct sales and services teams along with partners to close deals is strongly desired.
  • Industry Knowledge: Business Intelligence, Statistical Analytics, and manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel up to 50% to Canada.
  • Passport: Hold a valid US passport.
  • Language: Fluency in French is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Selling Methodologies: General familiarity with structured value based and/or consultative selling methodologies and processes required.

  • Identify, recruit, enable, and manage a partner ecosystem within the Canadian region.
  • Drive partner enablement programs.
  • Develop and execute annual partner business development plans.
  • Provide sales support to partners for all industry verticals.
  • Understand and leverage partner customer interactions and initiatives.
  • Support Minitab’s global go-to-market plan and regional operating plan.
