Candidates should possess a College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience, along with related industry qualifications preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills are required, including the ability to determine goals, resource needs, and assess and develop the skills of staff, and the capability to direct the activities for multiple units. Knowledge of business strategy development, long-term planning, and managing the profitability/performance of a major business segment is also necessary.
The Sr. Managing Director will oversee all activities for offices or locations, communicating overall strategy to reporting managers and employees. They will be responsible for upholding corporate policies and procedures, developing objectives and strategic plans for location or market, overseeing the development and monitoring of financial planning and pricing of products and services, and managing capital and expense budgets. Additionally, they will oversee client interactions and communications, monitor client retention, address sensitive client needs, identify potential for community or market expansion, develop sales goals, oversee communication strategies, investigate strategic opportunities, and participate in sales presentations.
