Role Overview

At AffiniPay we rely on our Sr. IT Technician and IT Site Lead to help maintain and build out our core technology at our onsite location(s). We’re seeking an experienced IT professional who’s eager to use and grow his or her technological skills in a challenging and fast paced environment. In this role, the successful individual will provide front line support for all employees both remote and at their assigned onsite location. They will also take the lead on maintaining the health and functionality of all corporate managed technology equipment. As an IT site lead, you will have an opportunity to not only maintain current technology, but also design and improve it. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their skills to technology-based business model that creates real-world solutions.

Role is based in Austin, Texas

What You’ll Do

• Perform system technician tasks, including user administration and support, laptop repairs and replacements under warranty, maintaining all software and hardware inventories, and providing onsite support for your assigned location(s)
• Monitor anti malware events, and verify threats have been neutralized
• Maintain door entry systems, printers, security cameras and other onsite equipment to ensure continuous functionality
• Interact with PR and other departments to coordinate and execute on desk moves and setups
• Provide onsite coverage in the office as needed to support the business needs
• Assign and support all corporate software
• Contribute to IT documentation, processes and procedures
• Administer Okta, configure and troubleshoot SAML apps
• Administer Google Workspace
• Administer VOIP systems

About You

• 3-5 years work experience in IT
• Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current equipment and technologies, laptop backup and recovery procedures, system performance- monitoring tools
• Strong experience with Google Workspace
• Experience with VOIP Technologies
• Experience with IdP’s and SSO technologies
• Must have strong alignment with company core values and be a team player
