Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with over 10 years of experience in enterprise software development, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. Proven experience with ETRM systems such as Triplepoint, Allegro, Endur, or RightAngle is required, alongside strong expertise in Oracle databases and PL/SQL. A good working knowledge of Java and .NET (C# or VB.NET) development, along with experience in system integration, APIs (REST/SOAP), and middleware, is also necessary. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is expected. Preferred qualifications include experience in the energy, utilities, or commodities trading sector, exposure to cloud platforms like AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The IT Tech Lead II will oversee the technical design, development, and integration of enterprise applications, with a focus on ETRM systems. Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end technical implementation of ETRM system integrations, collaborating with stakeholders to define architecture and integration strategies, and designing/developing scalable solutions using Java, .NET, and Oracle PL/SQL. The role involves providing hands-on leadership in code development, reviews, and performance tuning, as well as supporting and enhancing ETRM Integration modules. Ensuring adherence to software development best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements is crucial, along with mentoring junior developers and troubleshooting complex system issues.
