IT Tech Lead II - ETRM Systems

Position Overview

World Kinect is seeking an experienced IT Tech Lead II to oversee the technical design, development, and integration of enterprise applications, with a strong emphasis on ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle EBS, Java, and .NET, along with leadership capabilities to guide development teams and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical implementation of ETRM system integrations with enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define architecture and integration strategies.
• Design and develop scalable solutions using Java, .NET, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Provide hands-on leadership in code development, reviews, and performance tuning.
• Support and enhance ETRM Integration modules, including customizations and interfaces.
• Ensure adherence to software development best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team skill development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across integrated platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven experience with ETRM systems (e.g., Triplepoint, Allegro, Endur, RightAngle).
• Strong expertise in Oracle databases, PL/SQL.
• Good working knowledge in Java and .NET (C# or VB.NET) development.
• Experience with system integration, APIs (REST/SOAP), and middleware.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the energy, utilities, or commodities trading sector.
• Exposure to cloud platforms AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
