Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in global warehousing, transportation, or logistics management

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global warehousing and transportation strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, and best practices for warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery
  • Drive network optimization initiatives to improve cost efficiency, service levels, and sustainability
  • Oversee the operation and performance of multi segment distribution centers, ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery
  • Monitor global transportation trends and regulations to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and environmental policies
  • Manage and own operational relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight carriers, and warehouse partners
  • Work cross-functionally with procurement, planning, operations, and finance teams to align logistics strategies with business goals
  • Evaluate and implement advanced logistics technologies such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions
  • Develop risk management frameworks for warehousing and transportation disruptions
