Experience working with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing activities and a drive to successfully design effective partner engagement are also required. The role demands comfort in presenting technical and business material to various group sizes, the ability to work independently and remotely with a strong work ethic and eagerness for responsibility, and a willingness to travel more than 50%.
The Sr. Channel Development Manager will manage and enable Channel Partners within the Cohesity Partner Ecosystem, building and handling account and partner plans, and managing tasks within the Channel Management System (CMS) to grow pipeline strategically. Responsibilities include creating awareness, demand, and preference for company products and services, collaborating with partners to drive bookings, and identifying, recruiting, and developing new partners. The role involves forecasting partner pipeline conversion, developing and leading sales strategies and business plans for assigned partners, and enabling partner sales and technical teams in line with GTM plans and program requirements. Tracking partner performance, delivering company strategy/vision, identifying action plans to address gaps, and developing selling and services opportunities within partner organizations are key duties. The manager will also coordinate marketing activities and leverage Cohesity marketing resources to establish prioritization, execution, and return on investment.
