Candidates must have experience developing and managing partners in the India region and working for a Cyber Security solution provider. They should understand macro and deal-level partner value, possess the ability to build strong relationships at all partner levels, and coordinate business development campaigns. A strong understanding of the Enterprise Sales process and delivering an exceptional Partner & Customer experience is also required, along with strong cross-functional leadership and excellent communication skills.
The Sr. Channel Account Manager will be responsible for the growth and transformation of Proofpoint's Channel ecosystem in India, developing and executing strategic partner sales plans with Value-Added Resellers and Value-Added Distributors. Responsibilities include increasing share of wallet with existing partners, acquiring new partners, helping partners generate pipeline, qualifying opportunities, closing business, conducting sales training, driving marketing programs with partners, defining and deploying business plans to deepen traction, maintaining market position knowledge, and coordinating account mapping and business development activities.
