Responsibilities

  • Perform technical review of parts to ensure manufacturability dependent on supplier technology, tolerances, materials, and cosmetic specification
  • Work directly with the Material Costing and Commodity Management teams to provide guidance on supplier selection
  • Identify technology gaps within current supplier portfolio based on RFQ insight or strategic business direction
  • Provide technical expertise and support to business units to ensure product meets customer timelines
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Customers to drive lowest total cost of ownership sourcing solutions for assigned commodities within Custom Engineered Components (CEC) sourcing organization
