Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with over 3 years of experience in IAM or related IT security roles. Strong expertise in IAM concepts, RBAC, and protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC is required, along with experience integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). A solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR), business processes, internal control risk management, and IT controls is essential. The role also requires the ability to identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, and experience with access certification, role management, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary, as is the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments collaboratively. Bonus points for experience with identity solutions like SailPoint ISC, Saviynt, Okta OiG, and Okta Workflows, proficiency in development tools and scripting languages (Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell), and familiarity with SIEM/observability tools (Splunk, Logscale, LogRhythm, Datadog, Kibana).
The IAM Engineer - Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support of the IAM/IGA platform infrastructure, including monitoring system health, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing incident response. They will ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and operational needs, while optimizing access management processes across the organization. Key duties include investigating and resolving technical problems, managing and prioritizing support tickets, providing clear documentation and status updates, and escalating complex problems appropriately. The role involves generating and analyzing performance reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability and reliability, and streamlining IAM processes through automation and advanced technologies. Responsibilities also include enforcing IAM policies, standards, and controls, evaluating and recommending IAM best practices, staying current with industry trends, assessing and optimizing IAM-related workflows, driving initiatives to increase the reliability and efficiency of IAM operations, and facilitating training and knowledge transfer sessions on IAM utilization. Identifying opportunities to simplify architecture and workflows to enhance user experience and enable rapid innovation in workforce IAM is also a key responsibility.
