Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 or more years of professional experience as a technical resource in an enterprise software company, along with 5 or more years of experience in the identity management/governance space. Previous expertise implementing the SailPoint platform is a plus, and strong demonstratable skills in integration with SAP, ServiceNow, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud are required, as well as fluency with Java and XML. Familiarity with commercial security applications, enterprise directories, and experience with the monitoring/management/deployment of these products is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Specialist will provide technical pre-sales support to the wider Solutions Engineering team during the technical evaluation (POC) phase of an opportunity, working closely with Account Executives, Product Management, and Professional Services. They will define and agree use-cases to support prospect requirements, map these use-cases back to the prospect as strategic business outcomes, demonstrate how the SailPoint platform will achieve their goals, and develop custom code if necessary. The role involves coaching and guiding prospects towards best practices, managing the proof-of-concept process, creating and delivering technical enablement, and potentially leading small opportunities throughout the sales cycle. They will also join large opportunity sales teams to provide early technical guidance and coaching, mentor other Solution Engineers, and develop custom assets and solutions.
