Sonio's technology addresses the complexity of prenatal medicine and the significant responsibilities placed on healthcare professionals, as well as the potential stress for expectant parents.

About the Role

We are developing next-generation products that offer real-time assistance to practitioners during fetal ultrasound examinations. This involves creating systems that interface with ultrasound machines, stream imaging data to our cloud using real-time web technologies, interpret data and images with AI/ML, and deliver results back to the practitioner's interface via reactive web applications, all in near real-time.

As a pivotal member of our Solutions Engineer team, you will be responsible for the successful technical evaluation, implementation, and integration for our West Coast US clients. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact, working closely with our product specialists and account managers to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Technical Evaluation & Implementation:
  • Conduct technical evaluations to understand client needs.
  • Prepare and execute implementation and integration plans with EHR and other tools.
  • Provide support for edge installation and configuration.
• Technical Client Support:
  • Serve as the main technical point of contact for clients.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support to resolve incidents.
• Cross-Team Collaboration:
  • Work directly with product and tech teams on transverse projects (e.g., automation tools, monitoring, alerting).
  • Collaborate closely with Product Specialists and Account Managers to ensure customer success.

About the Profile

• Mission Alignment: A strong interest in Sonio's mission is critical.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two years in a technical role, ideally with software engineering principles.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with the HealthTech industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to understand the solution end-to-end and support clients in resolving incidents.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of basic web technologies.
  • Successful experience with Web APIs and their functions.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL for issue investigation, configuration updates, and dashboard creation.
  • Exposure to at least one programming language from the following: Python, Ruby, Go, JavaScript, Rust, Elixir, Java, C, C++.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication, empathy, and patience.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously, meet deadlines, and remain resilient under pressure.

Valued (but not required) Experience

• Experience as a Solutions Engineer.
• Experience with DICOM or HL7.
