Candidates should possess 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in research, government, or consulting, with a specific focus on healthcare policy. A proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a demonstrated interest in the intersection of politics, policy, and technology are required. A Bachelor's degree in political science, government, economics, public health, or a related subject is necessary, along with strong independent research, advanced analysis, and writing skills, particularly in a policy-related field. Experience analyzing data and conveying concise targeted insights, along with exceptional organization and time management abilities, are also essential.
The Associate Consultant will act as a client advocate and an extension of the client's team, proactively seeking and creating solutions to anticipate needs. They will stay on top of legislative trends to produce thought leadership and help clients understand policy and regulation development. Responsibilities include collaborating across teams, analyzing and synthesizing federal, state, and local legislation and policy for clients, and delivering written analysis and professional communication. The role involves using and analyzing data to understand, interpret, and visualize research, managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines, and creating tailored solutions to pair with the FiscalNote product suite. Additionally, the Associate Consultant will join client calls, own functional aspects of client projects including documentation and client communication, become an expert in current products, and contribute to new product development. They will also communicate client and product-related feedback to relevant internal teams.
