Requirements

Candidates should possess proven academic technology and/or solutions engineering experience, along with experience providing professional development and mentorship. They must be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches, and demonstrate a proven knowledge of integrating sales methodologies and project management skills. Furthermore, applicants should have an applied understanding of teaching, instructional design, and education systems administration, alongside expert knowledge of education technology, SaaS, systems integration, business intelligence technologies, student information systems, and AI in education.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Engineer will present the Instructure Learning Platform to higher education stakeholders, discover and analyze customer goals and challenges, promote methods of using instructional technology, develop tailored product demonstrations, lead in-depth technical discussions, identify or develop solutions to unique requirements, understand and document customer requirements, assist proposal writers, leverage prior experience to support sales goals, contribute to team development efforts, and work across geographies in pursuit of company objectives.
