Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with over 5 years of demonstrable instructional design experience in creating formal learning solutions across various delivery formats. Required skills include needs analysis, critical thinking, decision-making, balancing creativity with business needs, conducting training evaluations, project management with multiple workstreams and cross-functional partners, vendor management, applying visual design principles, scripting and directing video shoots, and managing outside contractors. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and authoring tools like Storyline is preferred, as is experience in QSR, retail, or general operations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, flexibility, self-starting initiative, and experience coaching junior team members are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Training Development Manager will utilize instructional design and consulting skills to create training solutions that meet business and franchise needs, designing e-Learning from ideation to development and instructor-led training curricula including facilitator guides and participant materials. They will project manage and collaborate with various stakeholders on training development, work independently and as part of a team using discretion and critical thinking, and collaborate on training communication and marketing strategies. The role involves working with cross-functional partners on training deliverables plans, managing project teams, and ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Travel up to 10-20% is required for offsite meetings and training engagements.
