Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of K-12 math classroom teaching experience, with a preference for secondary math, strong empathy for educators, and 3+ years of instructional design experience specializing in math and technology integration. Keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously are also required, along with a preference for experience with the Illustrative Math product offering.

Responsibilities

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for editing and designing digital curriculum products within the Kiddom platform, developing and implementing protocols for instructional/graphic design of curriculum-aligned lesson presentations, authoring/editing supplemental resources aligned to existing curriculum, reviewing content and providing Quality Assurance feedback to Kiddom’s contractor network, aligning math content to state and national standards, developing student-centered learning experiences, assisting in organizing work based on team member expertise, providing project updates, troubleshooting and problem solving, and continuously monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
