Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Pre-Sales Consultant, with a preference for experience in Global Payroll or HCM organizations. A background and understanding of best-in-class HCM and ERP payroll-based integration is also required, along with an entrepreneurial DNA and comfort in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Engineer will partner with go-to-market and internal teams to showcase the value of Deel's Global Payroll Platform and achieve technical wins. They will consult with prospective customers to assess and improve their payroll practices, acting as the technical voice during sales cycles by owning solution discovery, RFP responses, platform demonstrations, and integration workshops. Responsibilities also include collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations to advocate for prospect needs, accelerating deal velocity, and refining value messaging, while also constructively challenging the status quo to scale and improve services. Additionally, the role requires staying updated on global payroll legislation and trends to enhance service offerings and maintain industry expertise, as well as supporting partnership and marketing initiatives.
