Candidates must possess over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing Solutions Engineer or Sales Architect role within networking or security software. Proven experience in co-owning pipeline and influencing quota outcomes with Sales is required, along with a deep understanding of zero-trust networking, secure connectivity, and IAM integrations like SSO, SAML, and OIDC. Hands-on architecture experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls), and excellent troubleshooting skills are essential. Strong communication skills to translate technical features into business value and experience in high-growth or startup environments are also necessary.
The Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and close new Commercial customer opportunities. They will lead technical discovery, solution architecture, demos, and Proofs of Concept to accelerate customer decision-making. This role involves guiding complex multi-stakeholder deals by aligning technical and business objectives, and providing structured feedback to influence the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Additionally, the engineer will build scalable enablement resources, demo environments, and solution blueprints for the SE team.
