Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of technical experience in system integrations, such as a Solutions Engineer, Support Engineer, or Implementation Specialist role. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited program is required. Exceptional problem-solving skills, customer focus, and a proven track record of delivering successful technical solutions are essential. Strong communication abilities to explain complex products to both technical and non-technical audiences are necessary, along with hands-on experience with JavaScript, SQL, and/or other programming languages. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is crucial, as is comfort thriving in early-stage environments where processes can be built from scratch. Fintech experience, particularly with neobanks or card issuing, and familiarity with financial APIs, webhook systems, and real-time payment processing are desirable.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Engineer will lead customer implementations from technical discovery through onboarding to production deployment. They will troubleshoot client technical issues and provide hands-on support for Rain's platform integrations. Responsibilities include supporting customer conversations around API capabilities, guiding clients through Rain platform development, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to provide structured customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions. The role involves bridging the gap between customer needs and engineering solutions, escalating issues, and advocating for fixes.
